While at Epirus Music Lab we are most of the time busy with other people’s music, whenever we have some time off we get up to no good and make our own sweet noise, all while trying to make sense of the world around us. These extracurricular activities have slowly been converging into two projects, one of which is Δystopian_Farmer. We’re working on an album titled ‘CAN WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE?’ Mostly new music, taking inspiration from our favourite music from the 90s when we were young and without a clue, combining it with Greek Traditional influences from MUFU’s backgroun, and spiced up with Michiel’s upgraded firewood instruments.
Drummer Ilias Psallidas turned out to have a similar type of brain damage in that he loves a lot of the same music which inspired us, and he’s been a great addition to the project with his superb feel for sound and groove. Since in this day and age people mostly listen to music on the net, and often like to see some imagery, we have also started creating our own music videos, a project on it’s own which has gotten a bit out of control but which has been very satisfying so far – check out the first video below.
